Ex bobbed bob.. I had to change my hair as 'it was against school rules.' I also getting awfully sick of the 'HEY WILLY WONKA BOY!' Anyways. I'm a 19 year old boy with collar length brown hair.. I want some advice... would this haircut look good, sexy or just plain stupid? Please have a flick through the album... I'm sure a few people will recognize the boy in the photos. http://s1006.photobucket.com/albums/af183/gearbox12/ Also.. as this haircut is quite sexy to me... I would love my girlfriend to get the same haircut.. she has long emo-ish hair... what are your thoughts.. would she look like a man? One last thing...what is the name of this haircut... and how do I explain this haircut to my hairdresser. THANKS IN ADVANCE! :) |

I had the same haircut in the link you posted back in 87-89. The closest thing (name wise) is probably the 'Eton Flop' though some may argue that it's a shortish bob (for me, a bob has some ear coverage were this haircut technically has none.) As for looking sexy or stupid that comes down to the individual not the haircut. ;o) If you are confident enough you can carry off any look. :o) As for your girlfriend.. as far as I am concerned this is a unisex haircut - would like fine on a male or female. For the record, I've been out with women who had very long hair, bobbed hair, short hair, buzz cuts, even one who shaved her head - none where ever mistaken for men. As hair is such a personal thing I would leave the decision to your girlfriend though. Best course of action is to simply print a couple of the pictures off and take them to your local hairdresser - they'll know what to do. Good thing about this hair cut is it's extremely low maintenance. MBB |
