| How long should you go between getting trims when growing out a chin length bob? My hair is slightly longer than 3 inches on top and shorter on the sides and back, so I have a long ways to go. |

| Maybe get a mid-ear-length wedge now and just keep having it beveled from the bottom until the layers are out & experience some of the shortest of bobs as it grows out. You may discover you like a mid-ear length bob too (&/or other lengths) & do a seasonal thing like mid-ear bob in may or June kept until August & grown out to chin length by Christmas each year sort-of thing...? |

| Thanks Alan. I like the idea. I wasn't quite sure how to tell the stylist how to do that. But now I am looking forward to it. Just letting it grow out, makes it look so shaggy and then I go get a "trim" and it still doesn't look right. Armed with a plan, I feel better about getting there. So, thanks again. |
